I am so in love! The wonderful Blauerozen drew this gorgeous art for Magpie, and I cannot stop smiling at it. It is so fascinating and always such a joy to write something and witness what the words create in an artist’s head, especially when the scene includes an original character in an original setting. I love what Fei made of the scene at Magda’s shop; it’s so fantastically rustic, and the colours portray the mood so perfectly. I especially adore the detail with Levi’s protective hand on Eren’s back. Thank you so very much, Fei! I am so happy.

Eren hands over her jacket, yet Magda pushes it back into his arms with a pat on his hand.

“Oh, no, keep it for the walk home. It’s nippy out. You can bring it back tomorrow or I’ll send Val to pick it up.”

“Oh,” Eren says. “Thank you.”

“Yes,” Levi says. “Whatever you need, Magda.”

She smiles as she waves her hand, a delighted blush colouring her cheeks. “Oh, it wasn’t any trouble, Captain. I’m glad I found him and could help.”

It is so beautiful. I love it so much. And I'm still just amazed by the lighting. So warm and glowing. It really captures exactly how I've been picturing Magda's shop since I first read the rough of that chapter even. It's perfect. <3
